Each race event supports a great cause, (Peconic Baykeeper, Paddlers for Humanity, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad), and are a great opportunity to challenge your SUP skills safely.

Rental Equipment available for all races.

Each race will offer an Elite class and a Recreational class, anyone of any ability can race and have a great time. All of our races are WPA sanctioned and they are supported by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad.

When you sign up for a race you are automatically entered into our participation based gear raffles from great companies like Kialoa, Werner Paddles, JP Australia, Global Surf Industries, Surftech, Hobie and others. We have lined up some great gear and swag! Everyone who signs up has an equal chance to win great prizes!

Need help getting started? Looking for a great race board, paddle or want to tune up your stroke, call or stop by the shop, we have all the best race gear and WPA certified instructors to help you, get your race on..

All racers are required to bring a Leash or PFD to each race. Ocean/Surf Zone Races will require a Leash.

Saturday, May 18, 2013 – Paddle Race for the Bays. 3 Mile Recreation and 6 Mile Elite Race Courses. We will set a triangular course into Beautiful Northwest Harbor. The race will start and finish at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor. This race is supported by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad. This is a great race to start the 2013 season on protected back bay waters. 7:30am registration, 9am start.

Sunday, June 16, 2013 – Paddle Race for Humanity. 6 Mile Surf Zone Ocean Race Course. The race will be set on the South Shore (East Hampton) Ocean Beach and run an In/Out course through the surf zone. The race course will continue for 6 miles down wind to the finish. This race is supported by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad. 7:30am registration, 9am start. Registration will take place at the Main Beach Surf Shop, 352 Montauk Highway, Wainscott.

Monday, July 15, 2013 – Expedition Paddle Race 19.5 Mile Course, circumnavigating Shelter Island. Multi-Craft Race – SUP, Kayak, OC and Surf ski divisions. Mens and Womens classes. Recreational and Elite race groups. 1/2 Course, Full Course, Relay Options. Pridwin Hotel, Shelter Island. Continental Breakfast, Race Logistics, Great Post-Race BBQ. BBQ only option for spectators. Discounted lodging at the Pridwin Hotel too.. 7:30am registration, 9am start. Non-Sanctioned Race.

Saturday, August 17, 2013 – Paddle Race for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 3 Mile recreation and 6 Mile Elite race course. We will set a triangular course into beautiful Shelter Island Sound. The race will start and finish from the exclusive North Haven Peninsula. This race is supported by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad. Special Guest Laird Hamilton!

7:30am registration, 9am start. WPA National qualifying event!!

Saturday, October 12, 2013 – Paddle Race for Ocean Rescue. 6 Mile Down Wind course, Amagansett to Montauk, along the Hither Woods water trail. Super Fun fall race. Great Apres race party at Eddie Ecker Park in Montauk.. This race is supported by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad. 7:30am registration, 9am start.
