MBX Surf Camp
Welcome to Main Beach Surf Expeditions. One of the most popular and fun camps in the Hamptons! If your child is looking for excitement and adventure, they’ll find it at MBX surf camp. Kids ages 8-15 learn to rip it up. We use the East End’s greatest natural resources to teach extreme water sports. Our focus is on surfing, (and safety) but we cover a variety of sports. Each camper receives focused attention, group sizes are small, and all lessons are taught by certified instructors and professionals.
The Activities
The heart of MBX sports is surfing (offered every day).
Other activities include wakeboarding, stand-up paddling, kayaking, ocean swim and rescue, and surf expeditions.
The camp is five days a week and each week is a complete session. Two full activities are arranged every day along with transport to and from those activities. Healthy snacks, drinks, and lunches are always provided.
Important Details
Campers meet in the morning at Main Beach Surf + Sport in the Wainscott Village at 9:30am. Camp ends at 3:30pm. All parents must be back at the shop at 3:30pm sharp for pickup.
Campers should be confident swimmers, but when it comes to the activities, no previous experience is required – just the willingness to get your feet wet and have a blast! MBX is all about learning and improving skills. Each day of the program builds on what was learned the day before. Campers who attend for multiple weeks show real progress and always conclude their summer having achieved high levels of confidence in their newfound abilities.
Note – SPOTS ARE LIMITED! Only 24 spots are available each session! This makes for a better learning experience and child to teacher ratio.
