Awards and Achievements
When it comes to activities like surfing, any one who’s tried will tell you: the more you learn, the more fun you have; and the more fun you’re having, the more you want to learn! At MBX, we’re all about maximizing fun through encouraging progress.
At the end of each session, campers are given an “Aquatic Achievement Award” to signify their newly acquired level of skill and celebrate their efforts. An Award Ceremony (all parents welcomed) is held on Friday afternoon during which several prizes are distributed including medallions for Camper of the Week, Effort, and Athleticism. And let’s not forget the coveted Surf Star trophy. – Not every camper will receive a trophy, but we maintain that everyone is winner as long as they had fun and gained a sense of accomplishment.
