At MBX our focus is adventure, stoke, surfing, and water safety. Each camper receives focused attention, in small groups, and all lessons are taught by certified instructors and professionals.
MBX is the longest running, insured and permitted Surf Camp in the Hamptons.
Our mission is to create confident young surfers. MBX camp runs in five day, week long sessions from 9:00AM-12:00PM in July and August.
Campers should be confident swimmers, but no previous surfing experience is required. -Just the willingness to get their feet wet!

Surf lessons with Lars
I have been surfing and teaching surfing for over 42 years in the Hamptons. I enjoy teaching all ages and all levels from beginner to intermediate surfers.
With 10 Ironman triathalons and numerous endurance sports under my belt, imparting ocean awareness and fitness knowledge is my specialty.
From 5 years old and up anyone can learn to surf.
The Hamptons is a beautiful place to start!
Lessons take place at Beach lane in Wainscott. And are available year round.
Private lessons are $250.00 for 1 hour and 30 min. Includes board and appropriate wetsuit.
